The Wright Flyer in History
with Nick Engler
Nick Engler will discuss the Wright Flyer, its history and the Wright Brothers.
Mr. Engler has flown all experimental Wright Flyers.
Connie Tobias will also be speaking. She is a 20,000 hour pilot with American Airline and the only woman to fly a Wright Flyer. She will do a portrayal of historic female pilot, Harriet Quimby.
A flight simulator will be available for children to try, which may be filmed for commercial use. This is a great opportunity to learn about our local history. Open to all ages. No registration required.
