The Milton-Union Public Library is seeking a new Library Director.  This school district library serves a population of approximately 10,000.  The library is a vital part of the West Milton/Union Township community providing a wide variety of materials, Internet access, activities for adults and children, and a patron-friendly place where community members feel welcome.  The new director will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities of the library and will need to be supportive of our current creative and dedicated staff.  Responsibilities also include planning and implementing budgets and engaging in community outreach.  The new director should be well-versed in current library technology while seeking to enhance the online and digital offerings of the library.

Experience/Education Requirements: Candidates should have 3-5 years of professional library experience with some supervisory/managerial experience desired.  Candidates should hold a BA/BS degree and, preferably, an MLS degree from an accredited university or be currently working on one.

Compensation: The position has a starting salary of $38,000+ (negotiable dependent on qualifications and experience) and an additional benefits package.
